Margin Log #7: Precision Trading, Smarter Notifications, and the Catchup Drop
We skipped a week. Not because nothing happened, because everything shipped at once. Limit orders went live, Genesis Season got its biggest update since launch, and the history tab was rebuilt from scratch. This is the catchup.
What Shipped
Limit orders: open, close, and track
The headline feature across weeks 6 and 7. You can now open and close leveraged positions using limit orders, with full tracking in a dedicated Open Orders tab.
Set a target price, choose your leverage, set an expiry. We place a native resting order directly on Polymarket's CLOB at your price. No simulated triggers, no chasing the book. Fill price is exact and guaranteed. Partial fills grow your position at a weighted average entry. Sell limit orders let you set a target exit while your position stays fully monitored.
The Open Orders tab shows every resting order: target price, fill progress, time remaining, and one-click cancel. If you want the full technical breakdown, the limit orders blog post covers how capital commitment, expiry, partial fills, and the health system all interact.
This was the most requested feature since launch and the foundation for the next set of markets we're adding. At 10x leverage, precision on entry and exit matters. A 3¢ difference on a $500 notional is $15. Market orders cost you edge every time.
Genesis Season: side quests
Genesis Points now include side quests, targeted actions that earn bonus points outside of regular trading activity. The quests surface directly in the app alongside your main points balance. We also reworked the general layout of the Genesis Season interface to make point breakdowns, quest progress, and leaderboard position clearer at a glance.
The goal is to reward more types of engagement beyond pure volume, and give newer traders a path to climb the leaderboard without needing large positions from day one.
Notification preferences
You can now choose exactly which notifications you receive from Settings. Toggle categories on or off: trade confirmations, liquidation warnings, reward payouts, limit order fills, system announcements. Previously notifications were all-or-nothing. Now you control what hits your inbox.
Portfolio balance breakdown

Provide a caption (optional)The Portfolio page now shows a detailed balance breakdown at a glance: available balance, locked margin, total predictions, total rewards, current borrowed, and total borrowed. Everything that makes up your account value is surfaced in one view, no digging required.
Transaction history rebuild

The History tab now shows a full breakdown of every transaction type: market opens, market closes, limit order fills, limit order expirations, cancellations, deposits, rewards, and fee settlements. Each entry is categorized and timestamped. If you placed a limit order that partially filled, expired, and returned capital, every step shows up as a distinct line item.
This was partially started in Log #5 when we expanded history to cover more event types. This release finishes the job. The history tab is now a complete ledger.
What's Next
Dynamic leverage. Right now every market runs at a fixed max leverage. We're building smart leverage that adjusts per-market based on liquidity depth, volatility, and time to resolution. Higher leverage where the book can support it, tighter limits where it can't. More soon.
Ultramarkets is the first Margin Layer for Prediction Markets. Traders get up to 10x leverage on Polymarket markets. LPs earn yield from fees and liquidations with zero directional exposure.
